About me:

After graduating from PSJA North High School in 2002, I attended the University of Texas Pan American on a full scholarship. I graduated in 2006 with a dual Bachelor in Business Administration in Accounting and Master of Science in Accounting. I obtained my Certified Public Accountant license in 2009. Since graduating college, I have worked for several accounting firms, including two of the largest regional accounting firms in the Rio Grande Valley, where I specialized in providing tax services to individuals, small & medium sized business and non profits. I have 19 years experience working in tax. In 2023, I was recognized as a Rising Star by the Texas Society of CPA’s.

In my spare time, I like to give back to the community. I have been a board member with Keep McAllen Beautiful, Inc since 2017 and have been a board member with the RGV Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs since 2021 where I currently serve as President-Elect. In addition, I have volunteered for United Way of South Texas’ audit committee since 2018. I am also a graduate of McAllen Leadership Class 38.
